Mart Cobra was founded in 2014 in Austin, Texas by Neal and Nikki, with Jarod later joining as co‑founder and inspiration. The idea for our fire blankets originated from Jarod’s experience in Iraq, when a fellow soldier caught fire and there was no quick way to extinguish the flames. Since then, our small, family‑owned business has provided trusted, high‑quality safety gear to households, outdoor enthusiasts, Scouts, and municipal organizations across the U.S.
